the winning entry for the sparks animation
contest!
and now for my personal description:
almost a whole year ago, SPARKS - one of, if
not my definate favorite band ever, had an
animation contest for whoever could make the
best video for their new single, "waterproof"
using a 30 second clip of the song. the
winner would "be commisioned to complete the
video and will be released with the single".
well SHIT DUDE, i jumped at the opportunity
thinking there was no chance in hell i could
win with my unprofessional style/equipment.
anyway, a few months went by and i kept
sending emails to the person in charge of it,
a woman by the name of sue harris. i kept
inquiring if i had lost yet(my exact words) i
found out that my video had actually won!
i rushed and finished it, and then made a
fake youtube so that sue could see it and
tell me if i should change anything, etc. a
few weeks later she said i should take out
the "lame sign". i replaced it with "rain"
and sent it back the same day, and asked
again if i should change anything, or how i
should send it in since you can't download
directly from youtube. a month and a half
later, i got tired of waiting for email
responses and even called the office in
london from new jersey* and was told after
holding for so long that i should try
emailing sue. WOW MAN. THANKS FOR THE TIP
PHHHHH
anyway, she finally responded and said to
send it into the office on DVD. of course, i
did right away and waited another month or
two before i heard from sue. all she said was
she was thinking of using it as a promo for
their next activity in the us.
a few months later, it's now and i'm
uploading it on youtube. i'm assuming im the
only one that cares. haven't had any new
videos lately and i think the ones currently
online don't exactly show off my potential.
did i spell that right?
anyway, enjoy. for some reason the dvd i
burnt was more in sync than justin
timberlake, but it's kind of slow on the
computer. anyone who's seen any of my stuff
should be used to that, anyway. **

that's really sad if you fall into the second

I put Garmin Oregon 300 in washbowl with
water. I forgot to switch it on and show it
survived, but you can believe me - it is
really waterproof (in contrast to Colorado).
The other test was accomplished on bicycle
during strong rain.
