This was fun. I couldn't remember the old
raps too well, so my lyric memory was a
little out of sync with my beatboxing--at a
few points. I still hope you have fun
listening. I now drive a Honda Insight, but
my 1st car was a 1966 AMC Rambler Classic in
mint condition. I wrecked it, but I can still
remember/rap about it. God Bless You Forever.
Sincerely,
MDJ. ^_^
"Party People In The Place, Some People Call
Me Bruce, Cold As Ice" lyrics:
Well, party people in the place, I'm gonna
get on your case, because you're sittin'
down, around with a frown on your face. You
got to get up outcha chair, throw your hands
in the air, get your rear in gear, or get the
hell out of here. Because I'm Marvin J. and
I'm a marvelous man. Y'know the North of
Japan I call my homeland. I'm about to take a
stand 'cause I know I can. I'll smack the
grand dragon of the Klu Klux Klan. Me and my
homeys are wild and free. It's the Father
GOD, the Holy Spir-i-t. Last, but not least,
Savior JC. After last and least, Marvin J.
That's me. Together we stand. We stand
together, forever, through the weather, 'til
the end of never. 'Cause a party needs us
like kings need treasure—or like a whore
needs more than pleasure. Well, you can call
me the marvelous one, because I will not run
from a guy with a gun. I could never outrun a
speedin' bullet. If a brother has a finger on
the trigger, then I figger he'll pull it.
Some people call me Bruce, but my name is
Marv. I serve my country in the Air National
Guard. I don't try to be cool; no need to
play hard. I just crush every sucker like a
house of cards. I don't joke, smoke, toke,
snort coke, drink booze. I make my own
decisions, got my own set of rules. I don't
like to fight, and I will not cuss. But if
you try to call me light, a rhyme I'll bust.
I'll tell you that your Mother walks like a
trucker, and then I'll tell you how I know
you're a sucker: whinin' like a baby, always
wantin' to fight. You can keep your candy,
boy; just gimme d'mic. Don't talk about my
ride or my heritage, because my car is a
classic and my family's rich. My Father's not
a bum, my Mother's not a bitch. I got an AMC
classic, year '66. Original engine 770 takes
me anywhere, everywhere I want to go. I don't
need a Continental or a Cadillac, because my
Mother's Oriental and my Daddy is Black! I'm
about to release the beats I have inside.
I'll leave you sucker beatboxers petrified,
because my alias the Baron of the Beat is the
one that will weally make you wiggle, once
he's begun.
Cold as ice, sharp as a needle; attended the
University of Toledo. How in college did I
arrive? I graduated from Rogers in '85. Solid
as steel, hard as a rock; movin' crews out
the way, when I walk down the block. I'm
quicker than a cobra, when it's time to
strike, because I got to think fast when I
rock the mic. Like lightning, frightening
suckers to their knees. They can't move, like
a freeze ray I'm making 'em freeze. You and
your zoo crews think you're the big cheese,
but I'll still have you beggin' please,
please. please. Because the rapper freeze ray
knows what to do, I'm gonna simmer on you
like chicken stew. I'm gonna roast you royal
like bar-b-q, and you will be be loyal to me
when I'm through. Because you will boil like
it ain't no thing. You'll be flame-broiled
like Burger King, not fried on a skillet like
McDonald's or browned like beef for a taco
Mexicano. You think you're so fresh like
angel cake, and it's for that reason you're
about to bake. Because you are the food, I am
the cook. So, you funky sucker flunkies
better take a look at the crew right here
that's causin' fear to every single sucker MC
every day of the year. And right here to help
me prove my point is the Baron of the Beat to
rock the joint.
