discusses symptoms of severe mental states
such as catatonia and hallucination. This is
psychological view of schizophrenia.
Are extreme states of mind like schizophrenia
biological mental illnesses or psychological
disorders?
What is the best hope for recovery for
someone suffering from such an extreme state
of mind? Can these people be treated with
psychology or do such states require
psychiatry and medication?
Often these states are drugged with
antipsychotic medications such as Risperdal,
Zyprexa, Seroquel, Geodon, Haldol, Thorazine,
Stelazine and Clozaril. All of these drugs
are used to control symptoms only. They are
not cure for mental disorders. They all have
an unknown mechanism of action. Some have
side effects and adverse events that can
cause permanent neurological damage, movement
disorders, diabetes, weight gain, impaired
cognitive functioning.

will actually sell their toxic waist to
conventional farms to use for fertilizer.

Sumner Erickson, brother of legendary
psychedelic rock pioneer Roky Erickson, plays
an original song, I Look at the Moon, a Roky
Erickson song.
Sumner recently performed at the 5th Annual
Roky Erickson Psychedelic Ice Cream Social.
The concert featured, Roky Erickson and the
Explosives, Spoon, Robyn Hitchcock and Peter
Buck, Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Tommy
Hancock, Black lips, Powell St. John, Sumner
Erickson of the Texcentrics.
The Concert was hosted by radio guru Jack
Blood with special guest anti-psychiatry
activist and author Leonard Roy Franks and
Dr. John Breeding.
The Roky Erickson Trust celebrated
electroshock Therapy survivors.
Roky Erickson, Townes Van Zandt, Leonard
Franks, Jim Franklin (poster artist for the
event) are all electroshock therapy, ECT
survivors.
The Ice Cream Social is co-sponsored this
year by the Coalition for the Abolition of
Electroshock in Texas (CAEST). Many artists
have been hurt over the years by the labels
and biological treatments of the mental
health system. Roky Erickson, Townes Van
Zandt and Jim Franklin are Austin music
legends who suffered from psychiatric
electroshock, also known as electroconvulsive
therapy, or ECT. Families Rock Productions is
also a co-sponsor.

| Stupid, Prejudice & your IQ - PART 2 |

This is note that intelligence and
rationality largely depend upon the minds
ability to tell difference between things.
The less able a person is to see differences,
the more stupid he is.
This is one of the mechanisms behind
prejudice, stereotyping and fixed ideas. A
prejudice person has a low ability to tell
difference between members of the group for
which he is prejudice against. This distorts
his view of reality and makes him
semi-delusional. Such a person cannot tell
the difference between people since to him,
clearly, they all look alike.
Hate groups be they racist, ideological or
religious are nothing more than pissed off
group of people that share both their
prejudice and their inability to tell
differences in common.
There is difference between atheism,
anti-theism and anti-religiosity.
There is a difference between extremist
Christians and Muslims and theism and
religion.
Atheism is simply a non-belief in a god or
gods and thus has no agenda. Anti-theism and
anti-religiosity clearly has an agenda.
