DigInfo - http://movie.diginfo.tv
Have you ever seen a fabric that emits light?
The luminescent fabric that Yazawa
Corporation has released is woven using
fibers ranging from 0.25 to 0.5mm in
diameter.
The surface of the fabric emits light from
the various sources of light that pass
through the fibers of the fabric.
Cosmos officially received a patent for the
fabric this past March, and no doubt it has
the potential for many unique applications as
a luminescent material.
This luminescent fabric has the potential to
impact the creation of new commercial
products in a wide range of genres.
Potential applications could include the
theater, commercial displays, as a
construction material for luminescent walls
and ceilings, and many others. Tags : diginfo Luminescent Fabric yazawa Gift fiber cloth |
