| How To Have Lucid Dreams |

Lucid dreams can occur spontaneously. In
this video I give a description of a few
methods for consciously inducing lucid
dreams. Lucid Dreaming can be a means for
personal transformation because this special
state of consciousness brings together the
conscious, subconscious and super conscious
aspects of oneself for more open
communication and awareness. One can more
easily access highly intuitive perceptions,
commune with the archetypes, and even use
lucid dreaming as a launching pad into out of
body experiences (OBE or OOBE).

| Lucid Touch: a See-Through Multi-Touch Mobile Device |

We present LucidTouch, a mobile device that
addresses this limitation by allowing the
user to control the application by touching
the back of the device. The key to making
this usable is what we call
pseudo-transparency: by overlaying an image
of the user's hands onto the screen, we
create the illusion of the mobile device
itself being semi-transparent. This
pseudo-transparency allows users to
accurately acquire targets while not
occluding the screen with their fingers and
hand. LucidTouch also supports multi-touch
input, allowing users to operate the device
simultaneously with all 10 fingers.

| 'Lucid' Trailer |

A 3.02 min trailer. The original work is 28
minutes.
Premiered at Revolver, Melbourne Fringe
Festival Regional Geelong Fringe Festival in
2000. Awarded 'Most Daring Production of
Melbourne Fringe 2000'. Then in 2001, it was
curated as part of the St Kilda Film Festival
Fusion, performed at The George Ballroom in
St Kilda.
The background of this story is a film I
wrote and directed while studying at VCA, I
later transformed it into a stage work. The
character that I created called Stanley, he
had to come to terms with his life, every now
and then his past just flashes in front of
him, bad memories, childhood incidents etc ..
There were about 15 of us in the cast and
crew, from digital artists, choreographers,
dancers, this amazing soundtrack composed by
Brett Aplin.
Hope you enjoy it. The final cut (28minutes)
is yet to be output onto DVD. I will do it
once I have some spare time.
