Quite possibly the worst officiating in
college football history throughout the game.
This call defined the night however, as
Bernard was OBVIOUSLY down by three things:
1a) Knee
1b) Thigh
1c) Hip
1d) Arm
1e) Entire right side of his body
2) The ball crossed the plane of the goal
line. Once that happens the play IS DEAD!
3) The ground caused the fumble. The ground
can't cause a fumble.
There is an official standing right there.
What does he do? Just let the play go on.
Swallowed his fucking whistle on a blatant
call. Huskies go the other way.
Okay, so that's why we have review right?
It's going to get overturned... I mean, how
fucking obvious can a call get. The crowd is
livid. Gotta review.
Hmmm, all the players are lining up. Where is
the review? They're going to review it right?
IS THE REVIEW GUY ASLEEP?!?!? Washington
SNAPS it. There is now no review. Oregon
State didn't have any timeouts to instigate
the review. WHERE THE FUCK IS THE REPLAY
OFFICIAL!?
Just an embarrassment for the Pac-10 in a
long line of them. The entire slew of Pac-10
refs needs to be fired. They are the worst in
the nation and everybody, probably even them,
know it.
Almost cost the Beavers the game and a
possible bowl berth. Ridiculous. Beaver D
stopped the Huskies though. Ball don't lie.
Cheaters never prosper.

| The eye: intelligent design or incompetent design? |

The eye is often given as evidence of
intelligent design.
this is ironic, since an eye is a pretty
simple thing to evolve. In fact, eyes have
evolved at least 40 seperate times, making
the eye a great example of convergent
evolution. Furthermore, the eye is a striking
example of bad design. In this video I want
to point out those features of the eye that
suggest it was not the work of an all
powerful creator. Either the eye evolved
throguh natural processes, or god is
incompetent.
exhibit 1) glasses. We've all seen them. Many
of you use them. Why on Earth did we need to
invent these things if God is such a great
designer?
exhibit 2) the optic nerve. Now you would
think that it would be beneficial to have
your visual information processed right away.
You would like it to go straight from your
eyes to your brain. However, look at the
route that the visual data takes through your
brain. Not only do these two data streams
cross over each other, but they snake around
the entire brain before ending up at the back
of the head, taking the longest possible
route before being making their way into the
brain.
exhibit 3) the blind spot. We all have a
blind spot. Do you know why?Well, the optic
disc at the back of the eye has a hole in it
so the optic nerve can come through. Here is
a question -why the hell is the optic nerve
in the front of the optic disc anyways? Why
doesn't it come out the back of the optic
disc? All vertebrates have a blind spot, but
other eyes have evolved better designs.
exhibit 4) the fovea. The fovea is a portion
of the eye with very good visual acuity. A
healthy fovea is essential for reading,
watching television, driving, and basically
any activity that requires the ability to see
detail. Unfortunately, the fovea accounts for
only 2 degrees of our visual field. This
means if your rapid muscular control of your
eye movements is not working properly, you
will be in serious trouble.
So there you have it. The human eye. A
perfect example of incompetent design.

Rottrevore a highy underlooked and
underground created the album Iniquitous -
giving them the title of creating one of the
most brutal (and destructive) album in the
history of death metal. Of course there are
other good brutal bands but the sheer power
it delivers is truly devastating.
Incompetent Secondary is a slower song but a
personal favorite of mine.

even a sub-national conflict and are not
taking the rebel enemy seriously by being so
exposed in the open and co-locating
themselves with containers of fuel, the
populace and cars--all of which could and do
shoot bullets and explode bombs into their
exposed bodies.

This gives them maximum free time off-duty
hours to get drunk and chase women. These are
bad light infantry even from a foot-slogger
perspective; poor camouflage, no dispersion,
no armored vehicles shielding them from enemy
line-of-sight; its common knowledge that
garrison ruins Soldiers but PEACEKEEPING is
even worse because it gives you this FALSE
illusion that you are in nation-state war
(NSW) "combat"--just ask any returning vet
and he will tell you he is "Mr. Combat
Expert"---when really we are goofing off in a
quasi-peace situation and getting very
sloppy. Even worse is when military
bureaucracies conclude like Britain and
France did in the 1920s/30s that chasing
rebels made them ready for NSW war when the
German mechanized, combined-arms Blitzkrieg
exploded in their face in 1939 and showed
them otherwise. Its the USMC "small wars"
self-serving BS on a disastrous, national
tragedy level:

Clearly, we are screwing up in
Iraq/Afghanistan with the wrong type of
immature, maximize violence-for-NSW troops
and need a special corps of older, more
mature and culturally aware troops in M113
Gavin up-armored tracks who SMOTHER violence
with combat engineering separation walls and
checkpoints to keep guns and HE bombs
out--who have a LOW-KEY, NON-OBNOXIOUS
presence--not gyrating their hips in a Moslem
country. FYI, I don't buy into Islam at
all--but I also don't think we should
disrespect callously someone's religion and
enraging them with avoidable in-your-face,
decadent behavior when it is THEY who we are
trying to help make their country safe by
them living at peace.
