It was bound to happen, almost inevitable,
but HD-DVD has been hacked. No sign of
DVD-Jon this time though :)
HD-DVD uses an encryption system called AACS
which stands for Advanced Access Content
System, basically it is a system that
restricts the devices that can play the
discs.
But a Canadian hacker going by the name of
Muslix64 has cracked it. A video of the
software being used to extract Warner
Brothers war epic Full Metal Jacked was
posted on youtube but Warner Brothers has had
it removed already, somebodys obviously very
scared! What did they expect though? Nothing
is uncrackable, they have probably a thousand
people working on protecting a device,
compare this to the hundreds of thousands of
people who are attempting the crack it!
This version of the video has the copyright
infringing section pixelated out and the
audio muted, so the powers that be shouldnt
remove this one!

A nice movie made by myself, featuring codes
made by myself as well.
So, it's my first Youtube submission!
Well, seeing that one of my vids landed on
Youtube somehow already and received 1000+
views in about one month, I thought it would
be worth to give it a try myself.
(EDIT: Heh. Obviously it *was* worth it.)
No emulators were used during neither the
creation of these codes, nor during the
production of this movie.
"Action Replay" are the magic words.
Or more precisely, "Advance Game Port"
featuring "Action Replay"-technology.
That thing is a mix of Game Boy player
(except that it ONLY plays GBA-games, not old
Game Boy [Color] ones) and Action Replay,
PLUS, you can hack your own codes with it.
(only the newer version including the "Cheat
Construction Kit" can do that)

| Worlds First Hacked iphone |

Seventeen-year old George Hotz from New
Jersey spent 500-odd hours (an entire summer)
trying to free the iPhone from AT&T's
clutches.
Hotz posted the hack on his blog Thursday.
Which could lead to the mushrooming of an
entire industry devoted only to buying of
iPhones, unlocking them, and selling them to
people who don't have or don't want the AT&T
service.
However, the hack is complicated and requires
skill with soldering and software. A wrong
step here or there could render the iPhone
useless.
Apple Computer and AT&T refused to comment on
Hotz' exploit.
An earlier method deployed to make the iPhone
work overseas involves copying information
from the SIM chip or Subscriber Identity
Module. This method does not require any
soldering expertise or special equipment.
Meanwhile, both hacks leave intact the
iPhone's many functions, including built-in
camera and ability to access Wi-Fi networks.
By now both procedures have been publicly
disclosed so Apple can get down to the task
of modifying it's iPhones to making them
immune to such hacks...
Hotz, who said he collaborated online with a
large number of people to develop the
unlocking process, put up his unlocked iPhone
for sale on eBay on Thursday. The highest bid
reportedly was $12,600 late Friday. The 4GB
iPhone model actually sells for $499.
