| Feiner Stern |
 |
Feiner Stern - 17 hand black bay elite
Hanoverian stallion by Goldstern was recently
imported from Germany. At the stallion
performance test, Feiner Stern achived the
score of 9.0 four times (Ability to work,
Trot, Canter, and Rideability) and got more
than 120 points in the final results. Due to
this performance, in combination with a
convincing first crop, as well as his
impressive appearance (type and trot), he was
awarded the title of Main Premium Champion
Stallion in Oldenburg (1987). His first
batch of foals brought 4 approved sons, among
them Feinbrand, the first vice champion, and
Fair Play, the second vice champion of the
1989 stallion approvals in Oldenburg. The FN
breeding value lists Feiner Stern with a
strongly secured breeding value for dressage,
which counts him among the top sires
Germany-wide. Feiner Stern stands at GW
Ranch in Valley Center, California. Visit
his web site to learn more about him.

From the album 'The Opiates - Revised'.
Video shot by Markus Steinhoff. Edited by
Markus Steinhoff & Thomas Feiner. Hi-res.
SamadhiSound is excited to announce the
latest addition to its catalogue; 'The
Opiates - Revised' by Thomas Feiner &
Anywhen. This revised, re-packaged and
remastered edition of 'The Opiates' will be
the first time many will have heard of the
album or the artist Thomas Feiner. The
release comes several years after Sylvian was
introduced to the work, which he regards as
something of a lost classic having only been
released in a few territories. The addition
of two new Feiner tracks have further
strengthened what was already a remarkably
beautiful recording.
Presented in a beautiful digipak designed by
Chris Bigg, featuring exquisite images of
Jean Cocteau and Marcel Khill taken by Cecil
Beaton.

Audio only.
The Opiates opens like a journey: on "The
Siren Songs," an anxious orchestra buoys the
captivating baritone of singer Thomas Feiner.
But Feiner takes a powerful turn at the
chorus when, instead of fighting, he succumbs
to the sirens, letting himself drown. This
sets the tone for an album that's stunning in
its beauty - and that once lay on the brink
of disaster.
Whilst the album began as a group effort, the
band dissolved in the two years it took to
complete - leaving Feiner to finish the
project alone.
