| CRKT M16 EDC Compact knife: Featherweight EDC |

Carried for a long time, I know the Columbia
River Knife and Tool (CRKT) Compact M16 EDC
pretty well. And there's a lot to like:
light 2.1 oz, fast opening, tight lockup with
LAWKS safety, nicely designed clip,
attractive finishing, good steel (154CM this
one), and priced resonably. It's a tiny
carry package that packs a 3" blade.
Downsides would be a non-reversible clip,
sometimes sticky liner lock, and a limited
utility spear point blade for EDC tasks (I
prefer more sweep, different blade shape).
But at around $50 and at 2.1 oz for this
length of blade, it's a still a good EDC
choice for most.
