hidden track) from her album "Some People
Have Real Problems". Directed by Kris Moyes

this is NOT supermac18's original idea for
his video response. so you should think twice
next time you say that Sia copied a little
boy to make a music video.
After being posted by blogger Perez Hilton on
his site, this video got over 300,000 views
in one day and became the No.1 Most Linked
Music Video and No.2 Most Viewed Music Video
on YouTube.
For those asking "Why did Sia make this?",
here's her answer:
"Kris Moyes (the director) got the idea for
contorting a face using sticky tape from an
artist whose name i can't remember on the
internet, and was writing a treatment for a
vid for the band, The Gossip, whilst staying
at my house in LA(he is a friend from
Australia) i stuck my face up for fun and
thought it would be an awesome vid, and when
The Gossip heard it they loved it but due to
some sort of travel/scheduling issue they
couldn't do it, so i said ok well let's do it
together, for one of my songs, just for fun.
so we did. and it WAS fun."

about, trust me you're not the only one
Question: "Some of the lyrics in Buttons are
very interesting. 'Yes, I can see that your
carpet is animated.' Discuss."
Sia's Answer: "OK, OK, I gotta tell you, I
was at the end of the rope! There are four
cycles for the process of doing my job;
theres writing, recording, promo and touring,
and I was at the end of my writing cycle,
which can sometimes, between albums, and in
this case, can be up to three years! I was
writing with all sorts of different writers
and I wasnt really having any experiences, I
was just going into work every day and
writing one or two songs a day, like
accumulating songs, for me, for other pop
stars 'cos at one point I thought it wasnt
going to happen for me so I should just start
writing for other people if I can. So it was
like the last session I did, and I had
literally nothing, and I was so bored of
myself and I hadnt done anything or had any
experiences for like a year, and so I wrote
nonsense!"
