By request, here is the full version of the
1997 Boston Macworld expo where we see Steve
Jobs for the first time since returning to
work for Apple after being gone since 1985.
This was a very historic time for Apple
because they were almost bankrupt at the
time, so Steve announces a temporary
partnership with Microsoft to a very hostile
crowd. Bill Gates also makes an appearance. Tags :AppleMacworldKeynoteMacMacintoshSteveJobsBillGatesWindowsOSXComputeripodimacibookpower
Macworld 2007 - The iPhone keynote.
Steve Jobs introduces the iPhone. I think
this keynote is a good example for how
innovative Apple is and a good way to learn
how presentations should look like. Very
interessting. Tags :SteveJobsAppleKeynote2007MacworldintroductioniPhone
Here we see Steve Jobs introducing the G4
Cube. Although praised for its innovative
industrial design, the Cube fails to catch on
with creative professionals because it's too
expensive, not powerful enough and hard to
upgrade. The Cube is "put on ice" in July
2001 with Apple promising that it will be
"reborn" in another form at a later date. Its
widely accepted that the Mac mini computer
was its successful replacement. Tags :AppleMacworldKeynoteMacMacintoshSteveJobsBillGatesWindowsOSXComputeripodimacibookpower

Join me on a tour of the Macworld Expo show
floor in this Macworld video as we look for
products that are a little off the beaten
path. Our stops include the booths of:
Axiotron, makers of the Modbook tablet
computer;
Matias, which makes the Matias folding
keyboard;
Dream Cheeky, which makes the MSN Missile
Launcher;
Otterbox, where we look at the Armor series
of cases for the iPhone; and
and Vestalife, which makes the Ladybug
speaker dock for the iPod. Tags :macworldexpoaxiotronmatiasdreamcheekyotterbox
The ModBook is a 1.83GHz or 2GHz MacBook
that's been converted into a tablet
computer--the first Mac offering of its kind.
Macworld Senior News Editor Jonathan Seff got
his hands on a preproduction model and made a
quick video with Assistant Editor Brian Chen
that shows the tablet in action. Tags :applemactabletmacbookmodbookcomputerlaptop
