Appalachian mountain dulcimer with Native
American Flute, percussion and multi-layered
vocal melodies and harmonies, Bing Futch's
latest release takes two indigenous American
instruments and explores both traditional and
progressive tribal territories.
This video, which features imagery from out
of the American southwest, showcases short
clips from each of the ten tracks on the CD.
Along with hearing the mountain dulcimer,
Native American Flute and vocals, you'll also
hear African tongue drum, African gourd
shekere, Vietnamese T'rung, a djembe drum
from the Dominican Republic and a full range
of textures created with synthesizers and
percussive loops.
