Artist Julia Pott began drawing at an early
age. After watching her first Disney film,
she knew she wanted to be a cartoonist, which
later meant becoming an animator. Her thesis
animation from Kingston University, My First
Crush, is a sweetly nostalgic vignette of
anthropomorphized animals talking about their
first crushes. Beautifully rendered and
lovingly assembled, the little film touches
the hearts of anyone who has ever longed for
love.
