Wide Angle Lens
Applicable products: DMC-TZ5, DMC-FX35
Demonstration Process
1)Make sure you have the TZ5 or the FX35
camera available along with another brand's
camera with a 35mm lens.
2)Walk over to the competitor's camera, turn
the camera around pointed towards yourself,
stretch your arms out, and take a picture of
yourself.
3)Walk over to the TZ5 or the FX35 and
stretch your arms out (thus getting the same
distance with both cameras from you) and take
a picture of yourself.
4)Put both cameras to play mode and compare
how much more you were able to fit in the
picture with the wider angle lens.
Storyline
N: Have you ever been to a huge family
gathering like Thanksgiving?
A: Yes
N: What happens when it comes time for
photos of the entire family? Is it hard to
fit everyone in or have you gone to take a
picture where you back up to fit everyone in
just to run into a wall and you have to have
the group squeeze together?
A: Yes!
N: The reason this tends to happen is
because some of the lenses out there do not
have a wide enough lens to fit everyone in.
A typical lens is a 35mm lens. With our TZ5,
you can fit one and a half times the picture
in and with our FX35 you can fit almost
double! Here let me show you how it works. Tags : Pinnacle VideoSpin |

Scene Detection
Applicable products: DMC-TZ5, DMC-FX35
Demonstration Process
1)Turn the camera on in the customer's hand
and make sure that it is in Intelligent Auto
mode and the IA is in the upper left hand
corner of the LCD display.
2)Have the customer focus on something up
close (fact tag, etc).
3)Have them keep their eyes on the IA in the
upper left hand corner and have them press
the button halfway
down to see the IA turn to Macro mode.
4)Have the customer then focus the camera on
you face and press halfway down to show them
portrait mode.
5)Make sure to go over the five different
modes it can do which are Macro, night
portrait, day portrait, night scenery, and
day scenery.
Storyline
N: Have you ever been on E-Bay?
A: Yes
N: Have you ever noticed that there are quite
a few blurry pictures of manuals, etc on
there?
A: Yeah, I have!
N: Why do you thing they are blurry? What
mode should the camera have been in to focus
better up close on the manual?
A: Macro
N: Precisely! How many people do you really
this know what Macro is and what is does
though?
I mean, most customers think, "Hey, I am not
taking a picture of a flower, so why would I
use the flower mode?" The new scene
selector technology makes it almost
impossible for a customer to have this
problem. This camera will automatically
detect Macro, night portrait, day portrait,
night scenery, and day scenery for you! Here,
let me show you how it works. Tags : Pinnacle VideoSpin |
